Middle School Choir is made up of 6th, 7th, and 8th grade boys and girls.
Some are choir veterans, and others are just beginning the step of making
beautiful music. We especially focus on learning how to sight read music. A
good portion of every rehearsal is spent learning the techniques of sight
reading skills. However, we also have a tremendous amount of fun during
rehearsals. We learn crazy songs, laugh a lot, perform for each other, and
have a wonderful time praising God in song.

High School Choir is made up of 9th - 12th grade boys and girls. Anyone can
join choir, and anyone can learn how to sing. We spend the majority of our
time learning how to sing properly in a choir setting. Some time is also
spent learning music theory. High school choir is a year long class because
the fundamentals we learn continue to build on each other. There is a
tremendous amount of joy in getting to praise God during the school day. We
get to spend time every day participating in the wonderful gift of music
that God has given to us.

High School Choir
April 17 - 20 - Choir travels to San Antonio, TX for participation in the
choir festival, "Music in the Parks." Leave at approx 8:00 am on Thursday,
April 17, return home at approx 9 pm on Sunday, April 20

May 15 - Year End Concert 7:00 PM NMSU Recital Hall
